Forbes Croatia features Jedro Lithium project and its founder Aleksandar Devčić

Forbes Croatia has published an in-depth article about the Jedro Lithium project in the Smiljansko Polje industrial zone near Gospić, as well as about Aleksandar Devčić, the founder and majority owner of Jedro DS Innovation.

The article focuses on the development of a facility for the chemical conversion of lithium carbonate into lithium hydroxide monohydrate — an important material for the European battery production value chain. Forbes highlights that the project could become a significant contribution by Croatia to the development of the critical raw materials industry within the European Union.

Special attention is given to Aleksandar Devčić’s professional experience in the lithium industry, his personal connection to Lika, and the reasons why Gospić was chosen as the location for the project. Among the key factors are its favourable logistics position, proximity to ports and the EU internal market, as well as the availability of the necessary industrial infrastructure.
