Sustainability

At Jedro Lithium, we know that electric vehicles are only part of the green solution—it’s about making every step count. That’s why we reuse energy where possible, rely on renewable energy for parts of our facility, and chose a location that minimizes transportation emissions for efficient and eco-friendly deliveries to our EU partners. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint with smart technologies and respect for the environment.

In March 2024, EKONERG, a Croatian energy and environmental consulting company, confirmed our compliance with strict environmental and technological standards. Their report highlighted our eco-friendly practices and low impact on Croatia’s unique ecology. We work openly with local authorities to ensure we meet the highest environmental standards and actively support the EU’s green transition.

At Jedro Lithium, we’ve taken deliberate steps to minimize our environmental impact and energy use:

  • MVR System: Our plant utilizes a Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) system to significantly reduce energy consumption during production.
  • Water Reuse: A closed-loop system ensures water is continuously circulated and reused, conserving resources.
  • Solar Power: Solar panels installed on the office building adjacent to the plan supply around 15% of the facility’s electricity needs.

Additionally, Croatia boasts one of the lowest CO2 emissions per kWh in the EU, with most of its electricity coming from renewable sources. By relying mainly on electricity, our plant further enhances its eco-friendly operations.
