About Us
Located in Croatia, Jedro Lithium is developing a lithium hydroxide monohydrate plant in Gospić. We plan to complete testing and commissioning by the end of 2025.
Our goal is to increase the use of recycled lithium carbonate in the production chain, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and helping European manufacturers meet the requirements of the EU Battery Regulation and the Critical Raw Materials Act.
Plant is being developed by Jedro DS Innovation d.o.o., a company that is founded by Aleksandar Devčić in 2022 and headquarted in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital.

With an initial production capacity of 12,500 tpa of battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate, Jedro Lithium is poised to make a significant impact on Europe’s supply chain. Built on the expertise of specialists in lithium hydroxide refining for the battery industry, we leverage proven and effective methods to produce high-quality lithium hydroxide monohydrate from both recycled and technical-grade lithium carbonate.
A second stage is already planned to double production capacity to 25,000 tpa by 2028.
Jedro Lithium is committed to operating with the highest environmental standards, following The European Green Deal and ensuring minimal impact on Croatia’s unique ecology. By utilizing advanced technologies, we minimize energy consumption and significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
Our project will certainly drive meaningful local economic growth, creating over 100 jobs during construction and more than 70 permanent jobs at the plant. This reinforces our mission to contribute to sustainable development in the region while addressing the European Union’s goals of localizing supply chains, reducing reliance on foreign sources.
Be part of our journey to power Europe’s clean energy future.
