Located in Croatia, Jedro Lithium is at the forefront of Europe’s green transition with a first-of-its-kind lithium hydroxide production facility in the EU. Strategically positioned to meet the demands of the rapidly growing European electric vehicle (EV) market, our plant is dedicated to providing a reliable, local supply of high-quality, battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrat.

With an initial production capacity of 12,500 tpa of battery-grade lithium hydroxide, Jedro Lithium is poised to make a significant impact on Europe’s lithium supply chain. Built on the expertise of specialists in lithium hydroxide refining for the automotive industry, we leverage proven and effective methods to produce battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate from both technical/crude-grade lithium carbonate and technical-grade lithium hydroxide.

Jedro Lithium is committed to operating with the highest environmental standards, ensuring minimal impact on Croatia’s unique ecology. By utilizing advanced technologies, we minimize energy consumption and significantly reduce CO2 emissions.

Our project will also drive meaningful local economic growth, creating over 100 jobs during construction and more than 70 permanent jobs at the facility. This reinforces our mission to contribute to sustainable development in the region while addressing the European Union’s goals of localizing supply chains, reducing reliance on foreign lithium sources, and advancing the green energy revolution.
