Plant

The Jedro Lithium plant, located in the Smiljansko Polje industrial zone in Gospić, Croatia, providing direct access to essential utilities and infrastructure, including gas supply, electricity, and water systems.
Strategically positioned near the A1 federal highway, the plant also offers efficient access to the seaports of Rijeka and Zadar, enabling seamless transportation of raw materials and finished products across the EU.

In close proximity to the plant lies a deposit of high-purity lime – one of the purest in Europe – which directly contributes to the exceptional purity of the final product. The short transport distance to the lime deposit enhances both the economic and environmental efficiency of the project, while also delivering a positive impact on the regional economy.

Fun fact:
Smiljan, the very village where our factory is located, is the birthplace and childhood home of the famous inventor Nikola Tesla, who completed his primary and secondary education there.
Technology Overview
Thanks to our team’s technical credibility, the classic LC-to-LHM conversion process we use enables us to convert recycled lithium carbonate into battery-grade LHM.
Energy Efficiency
We use Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR), a modern energy-saving technology that significantly reduces energy consumption in our production process by reusing the energy of process vapor.
The entire MVR evaporation system is controlled by a PLC, which minimizes energy consumption to maintain thermal balance.
Сlassic LC-to-LHM conversion process is built on a closed-loop water circuit that minimizes water consumption and eliminates wastewater discharge to the environment.
